Must find a 'tongue-in-cheek' emoticon.

I think sunndog is pulling your leg, duffy ;)

Nah! Adam, You will get better illumination if you add another T20. Make sure that the beam is set too wide ....oh... I nearly forgot... AND a 501B with the DX lens on it, maybe over the 74mm... That should finally do it.... ...I think...

Duffy, Some Bloke is right, for night vision, less illumination is more. I don't know what camera you are using but with a E700 and a standard T20 you should get that distance, no problem. If you go scopeless then you need less even less IR and when there is a full moon you could get away without any IR.

I do understand what you are saying though, the image is sharper and clearer with two illuminators. ;)

yes, i'm afriad i was pulling your leg there mate
the weakest of those i.r's on its own will allow me to shoot at 10x or more past 200yrds with an e700 addon
more light certainly does give a sharper image though....upto a point

you wont see as far as you'd think you'd be able to with multiple illuminators.....the inverse square law come and stomps all over your fun and games

so is it a watec 902H and used as an addon?......if so you should be getting somewhere around the 2-300yrd mark with a 66mm on its own
