Hello everyone, my name is Jirka and I live in Holland and Bohemia (so-called Czech republic these days). I work as IT in newspaper industry, but I have been designing and building small electronics for quite a whie now as a hobby and as my contribution to one nonprofit organization (which manufactures and sells the stuff).
I have built or rather adapted some NV scopes uisng surplus amplifier tubes in the past and now I have found this forum while looking for some info for my first scopeless setup. I tested the first version with an old CCTV camera last week and it worked suprisingly well. The parts for the „real“ should arrive in a few days, I will post my ideas then. Basically I want to use a bullet camera with SLR lenses and an old CRT B&W viewfinder from a professional camcorder.
As for shooting, I am mostly sticking to my airguns (Gunpower, Steyr). My hunting in CZ is kind of balancing on the edge of the law - we shoot nutrias, starlings, magpies etc. which strictly speaking we are not allowed to do. But in reality this is not seen as illegal hunting since there is this so-called „level of dangerousness“ which must be high for some behaviour to be classified as misdemeanor.
