Hi All - New to site

Post by sidesy » 03 Jun 2012, 22:24

Just a quick hello and "hi" to the site - I have little experience with NV but i am looking forward to reading through the many posts and building up my knowledge. I have been shooting since i was about 10 years of age (now 45) and have progressed through the years from air rifles to centre-fire. Many mistakes made and lessons learned along the way but i am hoping i can add / share some of my experience too. Currently i have N550 , some Ranger spotters which i use for rabbiting and foxing. I own quite a few rifles ranging from .22lr's through to a .243. My rifle of choice is a stiller predator custom in .204 which has accounted for many a happy hour. I reload my own ammo and basically spend too much time and money on "getting out there".

Gary, the pay is non-existent, but you do get to use your own transport and fuel.

The hours are long and anti-social, but often quite fun ;) , in a sado-masochistic kinda way :o

Bonus is that you get the chance to hone your keyboard skills and give your missus the opportunity to say "Are you on that computer again ?"
