1st official unofficial social meeting darn saff

So Geoff and myself were having a chat last night and we decided to offer up a social evening as it would give us all a chance to boast of our prowess.
Shooting a mouse at 100 yards with a gen1 using an air rifle amongst others.

It also gives us a chat to see how ugly we all are, talk shi................hunting stuff and more. So if we get enough people to come. ie more than 2. I will get the pub to put some sandwiches and chips on.

So how does the 9th of June sound to all? 7.30 in the evening? I will have to check with the pub that there is nothing on but looking good.

I think your timing is a bit off for a NV meet. it wont get dark until silly o clock and the moon is Waning Gibbous.

If you organise one when its dark, I would love to come.

like lordy says, make it later dark nights and then maybe us northerners would make one also, it would give me and Rick a excuse to stay out n get drunk all night just for a change im sure i could get craggrat to partake also .john

The point is NOT to bring NV units. It is just for local lads (local defined as willing to travel a certain distance to meet people) to meet up for a beer and a bite, put faces to names and talk tall tales.

Other forums do it, so I thought I would see if the locals want to get together. Just not sure if there are many local to me.

The NV diplay evenings will be in November when it is dark.
