If you can find a way i would be grateful , she wont buy them for me anymore although i did talk her in to cooking me some smoked cod last week after i promised it wouldn't stink , that didn't end well

we had fish pie for dinner tonight..............could smell it before I even got through the front door....................very fair it was too
Chas,...............best way to cook em without the smell, is on the B-B-Q...........not a lot of hope of that in the near future

The BBQ or camping stove seems to be the best bet as I've been told kippers are now banned from the house.
The next problem will be two fold, a long wait and a garden full of cats.

I know they're a poor substitute, but the John West fellas in sunflower oil are very more-ish on toast

If you ever get the chance to try it smoked eel is really nice
, years ago we had a weekend away up in norfolk (sheringham i think) and we found this little smokery place that sold them.
