Its rained every night now since last weds. Just about to step thru the door and its at it again.
Ive got 2 pairs and a single dog fox to knock over and i cant get at em.
Will have to take up "watching the telly"

Looking like it could get worse I've been seeing talk of snow on the TV

I can only do weekends cos I have nearly an eighty mile round trip. S I made the most of Saturday. But yeah it is a bit crap.
Wouldn't mind the snow. Great for foxing apparently. And it has to be quieter than squelching around.

Stuff still comes out to play, our best nights rabbiting are on wet windy nights, also shot a lot of foxes in bad weather when you would think they would be to ground or in a wood keeping dry.

ISTR part of the charge is for taking away rain water.

plays havoc with the lenses though, especially with the IR

I forgot that one of my shoots has a couple of barn's, they don't provide a very good shooting arc, never felt the need to sit in them but maybe I need a re-think

I have cleared all the pigeons out of them

The barn that I have just got permission on give me about 70 degrees and with my swivel chair on a trailor and the caller out in the field I should be ok. Better than a high seat in the rain. I am told the foxes usually come from the hedge at the far side so should pick up fairly quickly.

That will put the curse of death on it now. Nothing will show.
