Hello you lot

Hi guys. I've been loitering around here for quite while but I'm sometimes a bit shy about being the new guy. Some of you will know me from the BBS and I see lots of familiar names on here.
I've blown hot and cold about the dark side for a couple of years or so, trying a few types and giving up to return to lamping each time. This time is different. Thanks to Chas and a few others I have found something I am very pleased with which will augment rather than replace lamping on my nights off from overnight taxi driving. Rabbits are my thing and I get a good price for headshot ones from a butcher who wants between 12~20 a week which funds the hobby.
I'm 60 and have lung and other health issues that limit my ability to go walkabout through the countryside while carrying a rifle and other equipment. I therefore drive round with a 4WD and as such am able to carry and exploit measures that may not be practical for those on foot. I share the car with 'er indoors so my kit cannot be permanantly mounted, thus a bit of blutack will be found here and there, plus mag mount marks on the roof from when I occasionally plonk a pair of Bosch floodlights on it.
My set up is a dash mounted Watec camera based spotter with 4" screen, and similar items on a daycope adaptor tube that I frequently tweak up on the rifle which is usually shot from the door mirror bracket. I have a DVR to try out on it as soon as the weather lets me try it without it getting wet.
