Evnin all.
Just joined the forum and notice few a old faces.
Just started looking at NV. Baz has saved me a lot of leg work cos he's been doing it for a bit.
Want to make some cheap add'on stuff.
Im not botherd about having a big screen on top/side of gun. May as well have a beacon on. I want something to "look through" more or less.
Im to poor to buy owt, so i'm forced into a diy setup.
Like the look of the bullet cams. but need them to be focusable. And need a small view screen. can machine sommet up to cobble it all t'gether.
Al probly give every thing a few coats of looking at before i make owt.
Anyhoo. See yuz later.
Sean.

Welcome to the forum, Sean.

Hopefully, you'll get plenty of DIY ideas on here. We're all up for a bit of cobbling together (I think we call them 'prototypes', but they never seem to get to the 'final' polished version :)

Cheers.

Well that's what it's all about-sharing ideas.

To be honest, most of it is modular, in as much as you match this to that until you get the picture, size, position you want. At that point you can then say 'okay, now if I made this to fit that properly, with a bracket there' and end up with your finished item.

We're not all looking for the same thing. Some want a spotter, some an add-on, some a dedicated.

The hard part is the expense that you can lay out in trying different things. Cameras, lenses, monitors, dvr's. It all adds up, but hopefully, you'll eventually hit on the right combination (and that's the jackpot).

Bottom line, if someone tries something and it's good, then say so. If it's rubbish, then say so. That way, someone else doesn't go out and buy the same rubbish as you. Share your ideas.

Hello bud.

Good to see someone like yourself on here, maybe able to put something as professional looking together as you do for the Rapids and the like!

look forward to seeing your creations ;)
