I went to retrieve my trail cam earlier as the location was susceptible to the 'wrong' type of visitor. I'd only put the camera out last night so wasn't too worried but on further inspection the camera wasn't where I'd positioned it, it was pointing directly at a tree with the strap having been nicked
I initially thought someone I know must be winding me up but on watching the footage I found conflicting evidence... It was a bloody fox
I had 46 videos, about 15 of Charles sampling my culinary skills, then there was a couple of vids of the fox and a ram within sniffing distance of each other where neither individual was in any way disturbed. At one point the ram did actually seem to sniff the fox, it was quite interesting to see. After that the bugger goes right up to the camera, hits it or bites the strings or something as the camera turns and then after another wobble of the camera he's off with the straps. This can't be seen as the camera is pointing the wrong way but I've certainly learnt my lesson...
Never tie straps in bows...feckin foxes!
