the dogs just found this little fella in the garden, so put a bit of dog food and water out for him/her and watched through the spotter,
guess it was a little hungry.

We had 1 on a ground feeder last night eating meal worms I put out for the birds - it was soon joined by a second & then a third !! After a small tussle 2 of them headed off in to a border & I got a couple of piccys of them making hoglets - nowt like a bit of Doggin on a Saturday night

they used to turn up every year about this time until 2 years ago, then nothing until now. pleased to see they're still about

Fascinating to watch them ! We've just had a 7m sliding door/window system (like bifold doors) fitted in our living room overlooking our terrace - we can sit here & watch all sorts going on out side now

I had a lone hedgehog in the garden a few weeks back (previous years there have been up to half a dozen of them) anyway I decided to feed him some cat food, so put it out on a dish alongside some water and left him to it.
The following morning the dish was spotlessly clean but six inches behind it was the biggest pile of hedgehog poo you've ever seen, in one end out of the other.
