Afternoon all,

I thought I had better introduce myself. I'm Hamish currently living/working in Shanghai and have joined the forum after recommendation from a few Shooting sites. My first project will be an Illuminator, which I think I can do myself having read many of the threads on here. Very helpful.

I have cobbled together a 15w Ir bulb from one of the Chinese Cree's onto another Torch with a 38mm Aspheric lens, but have no idea how good it is. I'll have to wait until I get back to the Uk.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have many questions which I'm sure forum members will help me with.

There are a lot of very helpful people on here that are always willing to help if you get stuck , also not having to wait 3-4 weeks for parts to arrive has got to be a bonus for you :thumbup:
