An unwelcome present and a sad farewell.

So we had a BBQ last night, and you know how it goes, people bring flowers for the missus, or maybe a drink.
Well last night someone brought a hangover and didn't take it back home with them. So if I ever find out who brought it I will ensure that I never invite them again.
And after 6 years I just sold my bike. Most disconcerting to see it ride off into the sunset. That has taken me over to Europe a few times and to so many parties I just can't remember.

Im sure a "livener" or six will soon get rid of it

At least you had the benefit of selling your bike, mine went off into the moonlight with some thieving little scrote

He was some poor misunderstood that society has yet to take to its heart.
But I think a big stick would have been a better option. That sort of thing is soul destroying.

I remember that feeling, coming out of the house and thinking i'm sure I left the bike here, looking round thinking your mates are playing a practical joke.......................then the penny drops and you get that knotted feeling in your stomach,
certainly would have reached for a big stick, given the chance

The bike was chained up so when the police came out they said to try and make it look less appealing to thieves even if it resorts to "putting a notice on it saying anyone touching my property risks the chance of being shot". He was very embarrassed when I invited him in to see my shotguns and firearms.
