New guy From Virginia

Hello all
My name is Mike and I live in western Virginia and am fairly new to night vision. I have a .25 pellet and several 223, 243, 30-30 & 308 centerfire and 22 rimfire rifles and 9mm, 357 & 22 pistols. I have recently built a DIY cascade spotter that has a surplus tube I ordered from England which works quite well. Now I want to build a scope or scopless or one of both maybe and of course I “need” a spotter.
What got me started down the slippery night vision road was that something was tearing up my lawn at night, ripping the grass out and a lot of small holes, once the cascade tube was cobbed together I was able to see that it was a possum digging for grubs. Wife didn’t like lawn being tore up so I told the wife I needed a night vision scope and an pellet rifle to kill the possum as we live in a neighborhood .Put down some grub killer on the lawn and end of the possum problem. I did get a .25 Hatzan out of the deal.
I am patiently waiting on parts to get started on this new hobby of night vision and flashlight making!
I have been reading a lot of the posts and am quite impressed with all the knowledgeable members here. I thank everyone for their posts, so that I can save some money and know what works.
Mike
