Hello to all...

Post by crazyfrog » 18 May 2013, 13:01

Hello to everyone, I shoot Rimfire, Centrefire and shotgun, a BASC member and holder of DSC1.

I am Ex HM Forces and the only thing I missed from the Forces was my shooting, so I get to shoot without being shot back at

I have a few permissions, but always (like everyone else) looking for new ones, so anyone got any others in and around Fife give me a shout :silent:

I am looking at setting up a NV set and like everyone else want to put a kit together that is effective both from a operational sense and in a cost effective financial way. On all my rimfire and centrefire.

Just noticed the post your location bit in your profile, now done.

Looking to make up a decent cost effective DIY NV setup and I don't want to take out a 2nd mortgage, I knew this would the place to come to. Does anyone know of any old threads with a list of component parts and a A to Z of how to do it, it would be appreciated.

I know I am a newbie on here but will return the favour of knowledge at some point in the future.

I am in Fife, I am also the Secretary of a Smallbore Club as well as having a few permissions and a active member of a few other clubs..

I want to put something together that can work out to about 200 yards for fox, bunnies etc

Being as you need 200 yards you'll be wanting something with a big lens like this for example:
