So yesterday was the other half's birthday. Got her a pressie as you do and said, well, will buy you a takeaway ( did offer to take her to a restaurant tonight but she declined, might have something to do with being seen with me in public ). But a nice evening in watching the telly, bit us us time, you know, be nice, blah blah.

Managed to last through emmerdale, then realised that coronation street was of followed by ........... Emmerdale again.

Feic that. Off upstairs with the cider. Don't love her that much....

Been out & Zeroed my new Bushnell Elite Tactical on my .204
Just got it pretty much there & it started to rain "rather heavily"

I have a feeling one of our members has been sat looking at "Scope Porn" all night

Well talking scopes. I now have 3 more scopes all needing to be mounted and to be zeroed. 2 3-12 and 1 6-18. All old ags scopes. So all. Wing well that will get done next weekend at some point. Still need a place to go ratting. I digress.
But as I was off last weekend. One of the blokes was interested in how well my old Beemer handles, he is interested in buying it off me. Digressing again.
And
I am off beer drinking tomorrow and cutting wood for a mate on Sunday. (No shooting this weekend) I am booking next weekend as mine and going on a shooting frenzy.

Might fit the highclear show in as well as that is on next weekend. Good day out.

Yep, you're right mate, still can't find anything else to beat my original choice and 99% convinced it's the one to go for.
Definately a case of the grass is NOT greener on the other side of the fence.

As it's now gone midnight, tonight is my night, or should I say her night.
A celebration to be had apparently, so the local indian beckons, now that's not too bad.
But on Sunday we're going shopping in York, oh joy of joys, trailing around shops all bloody day trying to make the politically correct comment every time she tries a new dress on.
You say it looks nice and she says it's crap(so why did you put the bloody thing on then) .
You say it's doesn't look right, thinking you've now got grasp of the situation, as she says she likes it
I give up, it's like a lifelong initiation ceremony, never could get the grasp of them.
