Afternoon all, just a quick hello to all users on this site.I have been over on the bbs for a few years but i'm looking to get into a bit of nv spoting to start

If it ain't one thing with shooting then there is something else to spend on
I have been looking at getting a recon 750 with ir nm800 for a spotter as i already shoot with the red nm800 and know they are great bits of kit.I think digital suits my needs better as my shoots are surrounded by some kind of light pollution.
Hope to pick some brains while i'm here and i hope this don't turn into a new hobby but unfortunately i think it will.
All the best
dave

Hello and welcome to the forum.
No one else except sunndog is allowed to say "welcome aboard" because that's his saying you see
If anything is going to pick holes in your pocket nightvision will be it, so it's best to give all your money away before starting, unless you are extremely restrained.

I'll swap you for that holiday
Good to see you've started spending already, they all said it was one way to ruin once you started on here, it only took minutes for your first purchase, you've got it bad

Yehar - you been touched by our subversive ssspending lures already.
You've got the makings of a good bit of hybrid shooting for the summer there plonker. It's the best way to dabble without getting nipped for too much. By the time you get really bitten there'll be more kit on the market mate and it's price is being driven down all the time.
