First fledged nestling and a Dogfish

Just saw a pair of Collared doves with a youngster in tow, its the first for me this year. It begins !

While we're on the subject of different species, my pooch.
Our little precious bundle of ffffffun has an identity crisis, he thinks he's a bloody fish
He recently learned that water is not just for drinking and now goes for a dip in the weedy slow moving water, whenever he can get away with it.
When he get's out he smells like a bag of ripe lugworm and needs a shower every time he get's home. He's taken to following geese and ducks, despite several sound telling off's and a letter of complaint to his mother.
There are 2 nesting pair of Swans at either end of this stretch, it's only a matter of time before he gets a reminder that dry land is where this puppy belongs ! I just home I don't have to go in after him !!!
