3 numbers.

Post by chas » 24 Apr 2013, 21:58

Just got 3 numbers on the lottery, 10 bloody quid.
Yep it's better than nowt but I think they ought to give me a few grand for getting 3 and the jackpot if I ever get 4.
Talk about a long shot.
"You've gotta be in it to win it". Yeah right, you can also be in it and win eff all worth having.
Give it to Branson.

I asked for a refund on the duff lucky dip numbers they gave me last week, they refused :wtf:

There's no guarantee you'll win, they told me.

"Buying these tickets" I said "It's a scam, a total lottery" !!!
...is this a pistol in my hand, or am I just pleased to see you ?

I'm not saying this, but I have heard the lottery described as "a tax on stupidity"

Since doubling the ticket price it's nearly twice as much to have a go too !

You gotta to be in it to win it! Also it helps if you do a "PERM".

Many years ago I started a syndicate, (yes, that can improve your chances too) 10 people, and we where playing £3 each per week (only on a Saturday). I discovered a software that would permute 28 lines, 2 lines where randomly selected, and we stuck with the same numbers. We weren't doing too bad (not loosing too many times) but whenever we had 3 or more numbers come up, these would repeat on several lines.

We did have 4 numbers coming up too occasionally and that was exciting as we notice a pattern; whenever we had the 4 numbers come up, we used get £130 - £160 per line, when the average for others was £80. We had a feeling that the numbers were good ones.

One week I could not believe my eyes... 1 number... 2 numbers... 3 numbers... (are you getting excited yet) 4 numbers... :o ...5 numbers... ... ... ... ... ... and that where it stopped. :)

In total, won on 13 lines that night! I know... all you want to know is, HOW BLOODY MUCH DID YOU WIN??????
Well we won just under £5000 (/10 people).
What upset me was that no one won the JUST UNDER £18,000,000 on that week. WHY NOT US!!

Some one told me then that if we had won on 5 numbers on the Irish lottery, we could have had much, much more.

We did have a proper written contract showing the members names, numbers to be played and every member signed it and got a copy of.

After a while some people where not paying in time and I decided to pull the plug. I have not played it for at least 10 years now but I should try my luck again, but only £1 per week as money is tight at the moment.
...the doctor said that I need to do gentle exercise... I said to him that I already did... trigger squeezing!
