Hiya, welcome aboard.

If your log in name reflects being elderly, note SOME oldies like me get awful eye-sting and headaches from having an eye too close to a viewing screen - we dub that type as a near eye device. There are heads up devices - mostly cottage industry home builds that are modular affairs with a 5" wide screen that fits about 10 inches away from the eyes, above a scope near the turrets with the camera behind the ocular lens.

It might be prudent to get a look through anything that takes your fancy at night for a decent session to see if you are affected - or buy from a recognised dealer online who has to allow you to return it for any reason at all, not even stating a reason.

As you have thoughtfully added a location you might find a local NV user willing to let you accompany them, or invite them to visit you for a nights helpful breaking in. Happy hunting.
