new from cornwall

Post by rickus » 09 Apr 2013, 00:37

Hello all again

was a member before but old computer hard drive crashed and lost pretty much everything.

based on the lizard in cornwall

I'm an aircraft technician (we used to be mechanics) interests are motorcycle restoration, smallbore target shooting and getting out rabbiting as much as possible/the weather/family allows.

got loads of good advice on here before and a few bits and pieces, I have a Suhl 150 .22lr and have a digi NV setup, consisting of sony handycam and n1000 at the minute (however am selling to fund new project). I do a lot of lamping as well, all by foot as permissions are full of small fields and too much trouble to drive/do gates (wouldn't mind a quad though).

Ooaarr, ello my ansum. I was born 5 miles west of there at Ashton. :lolno:

Best of luck with the digital upgrade when you get it done, take yer time now 'cos you got all summer to get stuck into it. :)

Last aircraft I was in was my brothers Enstrom Turbo shark - practising cloud base auto's on Lands End airport.
I was not the pilot. He has a hughes 500 now.

Ah Ashton - i rode through there (slowly) the other day on my new commuter beast, a kawasaki KH100, on way to MOT at Newtown.

Not too familiar with them Enstroms, I understood they are quite hard to fly? I work on the Augusta Westland Merlin.
