My introduction to NV has not run smoothly. I purchased a sightmark wraith HD and a 4k, from Scott Country. I took advantage of an upgrade to the ir. I now have problems with the IR and maybe the 4k.
The ir has excessive wobble in the adjustable head/ lens. I set this up at home and made a video of the IR I sent this to Scott Country, this clearly shows the problem. Scott Country contacted the manufacturer who replied admitting there was a design problem which has resulted in a different design for future IR.
I'm now worried as Scott Country are not offering to replace this.
The problem with the 4k is a persistent flashing/ flickering when being used at night.
Does anyone have experience of a) Scott Country
B) sightmark 4k
C) wicked lights A51 IR

As this is your 3rd post on the same subject maybe change your location to your actual area & try to find someone local who can give a second opinion.

Most ir illuminators have some degree of head wobble especially those with oversize heads, I use a couple of O-rings to put a bit of friction on the head.
It is possible the illuminator frequency doesn't work well with the NV, it's also possible one or the other is faulty but such issues generally need to be seen first hand where perhaps a change of illuminator would cure the "flickering".
Trying to diagnose a fault from a written description is not easy.
