I had a regular cab pick from a young couples house where the girl is an absolute stunner, almost any bloke would be all over her like a rash if he were so inclined. As she walked down the path wearing next to nothing again I had the usual wishful thoughts about her but put them aside before she got in the car. They almost always go out as a couple but as I paused and glanced at her with a raised eyebrow as if to ask where the guy is she said he's not coming this time.

Chatty with banter as I am with all my customers I quickly replied 'Oh, he's having a night off of you then?

About three seconds later we both realised what I had said and she laughed as I said oops that din't come out the way I meant. Bless her little cotton socks.
