Hello Jackal, I see in another post of yours you are using the xsearcher head on your nm 800.
Can you buy just the head seperately?
Does the extension tube fit both?
Are the LEDs interchangeable with both torches?

Tubes are the same and so are the pills. Haven't seen just the heads for sale though.

I have been thinking of it. I wondered if I could get a little more legs out of the 940nm led if I slapped the 66mm lens on.
The reason I haven't bought one is I like my laserluchs ball mount which connects quickly and works perfectly. I'd need to buy a new mount for the 66mm head jobbie so how good are the new adjustable jobbies that are around? Are they heavy?

Not sure how much you'd gain, to be honest. Check with Tony at Taclight, but I'm pretty sure that the gain would be more significant by adding the extra tube and driving it more.
