Looking forward to learn more about night vision from your experiences. I don't have night vision yet, I shoot rabbits and foxes with hmr and rabbits with fac air. Cheers bone.

Welcome.

NV is great on the bunnies and for foxing although i'd not use a 17HMR myself for foxes as I typically don't get that close to them to ensure a clean kill.
I have an FAC .25 Pulsar (along with a .22LR) for bunnies, pigeons and crows around the farm and a 17HMR for longer distances. My foxing rifle is the .22-250 with dedicated NV. I find judging distances more difficult at night so rely on the flat trajectory of a 50gr .224 bullet.

Anyway, plenty of good NV advice here.
