I tried out a home made night vision set up recently and was impressed but could not make contact with maker as mine was borrowed through a friend of a friend.
The concept was great so i looked every where for camera lenses lamps etc and then heard of this web site
Problem is for a newbie/numpty like me it might as well have been in Arabic
as i could not understand most of the terminoligy.What i borrowed was a hand held unit with a laser a lense and an iluminator in it. I bought a IR Filter for my big Lamp and it soon became clear the lack of viewing range was all down to the IR being inadequate.
Where can i look to see how i can put together a 12v (plugged into Fag lighter) spotter (hand held or on a roof mount) with a screen that would sit on the dash ?
OR
Is there anyone on here that makes and sells something similar please.
