Johnny Kingdom

A potentially beautiful programme on Alaskan Grizzly and Salmon was ruined by the jibbering over enthusiasm and simplistic, sometimes idiotic commentary of the converted poacher, Johnny Kingdom. After 5 minutes I had to turn the sound off !
Go back to selling post cards Johnny, let the pro's get on with it.

Got a migrane now !
...is this a pistol in my hand, or am I just pleased to see you ?

I have to agree. When he was winding the reel backwards to land a Salmon. It was a quick channel change to the living dead.

Attenborough - "Alaska. Each year a generation of salmon make the pilgrimage to the tributaries that spawned their birth, only this time (dramatic pause) to spawn themselves. Magically navigating their way home through the open ocean, evading ocean going predators and fishermens nets on this epic journey, to the very same waters that gave sustenance and protection around 7 years ago. It's late summer here and it is by no coincidence that Ursus arctos horribilis or the North American Grizzly Bear, have congregated in large numbers, to greet the return of the spawning hoard.

Kingdom - OOOh, a Brrrrrr.....................isn't it big
