Hi All, my name is Dave and I like to sneak about in the dark…!


I have been shooting airguns for many years and in the last few years started to do a lot more hunting.

Been looking into night vision for a while now and just find it a minefield of options and have been overwhelmed with the options. Last year I tried a setup using a Sony Camcorder, it sort of worked OK, did a bit with it, but found using “add ons” just a pain and never really liked it. I have also tried making my own over the years, but again, this was just all “add ons”.

The problem I always had was to do this properly the best root I can see, for myself anyway, would be to have a dedicated setup, so a dedicated rifle just setup for night vision. I got myself an Ulta SE now, just for a night vision setup.

Started to look at the minefield of options again, best looking unit I have found so far is the Yukon Photon, this seems to tick all my boxes, just need the thing to be in the shops now.

Anyway, joined the forum to have a good look at other setups and see what others are using.

Hi Dave welcome mate.

Looks like you have done some reading up already across other forums perhaps. Loads are waiting for that rig to surface and have probably got orders in for it already. You'd probably get to hear about one on here soon after it's release.

EDIT: We all hope of course that it's as good as we think it might be - and how adventurous the advance manufacturer slobber is.
