Hello from Aberdeen...shire

Post by reidzer » 11 May 2019, 10:27

Hi all,
Just joined trying to find some advice or info!

I'm considering changing my pulsar trail thermal on my 223 foxing set up for an NV scope. Not sure if I'd be doing the right thing or not? I think I'd be happier with NV for final or quicker ID before a shot.
Then the question is do I go PARD008/ATN/Pulsar or sell a kidney and go with digiceptor or the likes?

Cheers,

A big welcome to the forum , I am old school I prefer spotting with thermal then 100% ID with gen2+ add on , I have heard nothing but good things about the Pard 008 but dont own one or have had a look through, but I am sure there will be plenty of info from the guys that have them Bruce (phoenix) has one might be able to meet up to have a look through it

Are you using a GEN2+ add on? Its turned into a bit of a mine field of what's what!

Yes thats because I have one , and as you know you have to be careful with bright lights etc etc , but the Pards have recording facilities, wifi, and different rets etc etc has Bruce not sent you a Pm, only problem with the pards a and most add ons apart from the 008 is they like a cheaper end scope with less coatings an PX adjustment
