Hi has any one used the MinoxZX5I 3-5x56 with a addon at all ?.

You would need the SF model to get the side focus adjustment need to get the best out of an add-on
Unfortunately non of the Minox documents I've looked at say what the minimum focus distance is - and it needs to be around 10 yards to get a sharp image at high magnifications and ranges less than 100 yards.
Typically, German scopes don't focus below 50 yards
