By 10am, cued on the A46 to find the police had shut the exit, by 10.30am, cued at next exit off A46, By 11.10am cued on road 1/2 mile from entrance, by 12.15pm, entrance to park closed 5 cars in front of me. Car abandoned on the verge and starts to walk. You might say I'm not too happy at this point.

Abuse about answering my phone thrown at me from some stranger in a car. Said car comes to stop and some strapping chap jumps out and says 'Hello Marky, it's LuckyDan off the forum'. Dan's driver abandons the car on the verge, the drive exit's and Dan introduces Emma. I think no more of it then realise it's Cubleycat!

I wave goodbye to the two buddies I'd drive up with and arrange to meet later. On the wet muddy walk to the show me, Dan and Emma get to know each other and start to talk about everything and nothing, these forum's are so great at getting like minded people together who otherwise would never meet.

Eventually, some time around 1.15pm IIRC we finally get into the show.

Hell there was a lot of people there!

Quick look at the map to get our bearings then around to look at the new night vision on offer.

DFA75, looks good if it works without poi shift
Phantom, I recon the best £400 you can spend on night vision, very impressed
Carl Moores dedicated, very nice package, it's a winner, my buddies already ordered one,
Carl's front add on, time will tell, needs more development then we'll see poi wise

Mr Nighthunter introduced his self by kicking me in the arse whilst i was devouring a horse burger :o
I shock his hand and congratulated him on his day in court.

Nitesite, well. Major development on there device! Realtree camouflage dip! That will help

They had their radar gun there as well, ummmmmm.

Mother always used to say 'if you have nothing good to say, say nothing'

I did promise some video, sorry but it just didn't happen

My day at the show.
Got there at 8am. Walked straight in. No Que. had a look at as much as I could see.
I liked the new straight pull browning. Really nice. Just needs to be a smaller caliber and LH.
Interesting stuff coming out of the NV companies.

I was actually impressed by the nitesite radar gun. 20 times zoom. As a spotter. I will be interested to try it in the field to see how well it performs. I think it would be great up a highseat and yes, it is rather large.

Bought a new scope, 3-12x56 with illuminated reticle Meopta. Anyone want to buy a Meopta without the IR? Lol

The crowds were down on yesterday. Plenty of room to move about. And plenty of cars stuck in the soggy parking. From the comments on the SD I decided to take the truck rather than go in my mates car. Sensible option in the circumstances me thinks.

I enjoyed it but didn't get enough time to mooch.
