Had a great hour and a 1/2 shooting rats last night.
I put my Watec Set up on my mates rapid 7 and used a cheap old battery powered IR I have and ended up shooting 16 of the little buggers:-)
I haven't had that much fun in years
I managed to record a few of them and will upload soon,
Will take the Markylight MK4 next time though to give me a clearer picture
Stew

Lol, didn't have to mate I was perched up on a step ladder and shooting through a hole in the barn cladding ( not easy at all )
My mates scope isn't as good as the Mamba and you focuse it at the front were you use it for range finding ,
Have you got a DVR yet Mike , option is still open this end ?

Where do you find these rat shoots, I've been searching for years. None of my shoots have rats

You would think a stables would have some .............. no chance. Farm yards .........................none. Bird feeders .................. not a cat in hells chance.
The places I shoot must just be too tidy

Gonna try the local egg producers, I'm thinking loads of chickens may mean loads of rats
After that, if no good, I'm just going to give up and cry

The ones I shot are in a pig barn
Sounds like you looking in all the right places,
Keep looking

I'll get some pictures up of the rat runs when the snows gone.
i haven't done much with them until now because of the
illumination problem.
poisons don't work as well as it did on this farm now
