Just wondering

You know how it is, you're sat waiting for something to appear and your mind starts to wander slightly, or for some of us it wanders greatly . It crossed my mind why toenails grow continually, seemed a little odd after all these years we haven't evolved to do away with all this daftness.
Then the big question hit me ................. How did cavemen cut there toenails ??

Came natural as they could scrape their knuckles on the floor while walking.

It was apparently a tea break passtime to remove any excess bodily growth and digest it for the nutrients contained within, seen more recently when watching monkeys groom each other.

Either they were a lot bendier than I've ever been and chewed them off, or they had to batter their toe nails with sharp stones
