Felled an old Silver Birch in the garden a while back using a diy McCulloch chainsaw and a knackered Husky 45 (crank seals gone so runs on, gets hot and partialy seizes now and again

). No way were they going to cut up the trunk and limbs, so took a chance on an old Husky 181se that was supposed to have led a sheltered life. Fired it up today and boy does this cut

Trunk's app 2' across so the 20" bar goes across if positioned correctly.
One happy little lumberjack now

Oooh thats a classic big boy falling saw. 20" bar should be no problem for that. They will have put 36"ers on it back in be day
if its got a cast ally top cover it could well be the same age as me

It was just a rare spark of life chaps, I assure you. Statler and Waldorf were modelled on my older brother and I BTW.

Do you want any more old Husqvarna chainsaws Rod

there was a 266 with heated handle in a car boot sale this morning, think that it was the SE model, probably could have bought it for £35.00 i'sh. Compression was not brilliant but it was complete but looking dirty and uncared for

The owner wanted £50.00 as his starting price
Same guy is bringing me some Britool spanners next week, can get it for you if it is still available
Thanks
Phil
