Just sitting on the patio watching the birds on the feeders and something struck me as odd. Birds come in all different sizes, so do fish, and dogs. But humans only come in one size really, Why? You would have thought we would have evolved in various sizes to suit our environment after all this time.
Eskimo's should be really short and fat, almost spherical, in order to reduce heat loss and float when they break through the ice. Arabs should have very long legs to raise the torso to catch any cooling breeze, and big flat feet to walk on the sand.Folk from jungle areas should have long legs to step over logs etc and thin feet with pointy toes to grip in the mud, short bodies would help so they didn't catch on branches when running.
I suppose we're about right for where we live, and of course we're British so we are perfect in all ways

You live near Birmingham, right.
Last time I was there I saw all of those you mention down one street.

Rod, I am addicted to watching the delicious body (a peach of a bum) of the lady in the visit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem TV advert where she is towing her partner around the different locations. My good woman in doors "is telling me that I have got problems and loosing the plot", my only comment was "with a a++ like that I would follow her through barbed wire and brambles"
Thanks
Phil
