...know anything about action cameras (Go Pro)?

I'm looking to buy a Go Pro type camera. I'm not a super awesome thrill seeker. So, it's not like I need something that I can carry to the top of Everest, or strap to a drone and fly over an active volcano. I just want something affordable, has common software logic/battery/mounts (no proprietary software or unique connector, or unique batteries, or some strange sized mount), and can handle water. I'm taking a trip, and a lot of the activities will be snorkeling. I'd just like something nice to use. I don't need Professional Nature Documentary quality gear.

What do you have in mind?

What should I buy with the package....mounts, chargers, memory cards, etc.
