hey been fiddling with home made NV for a while but always ended up as a cobbled together add-on with wires everywhere and more hassle then its worth when going out night shooting.
so always returned to the lamp.

My first two NV add-ons consisted of pipe fittings with a ej230 and a small dvr jubilee clipped on, and before that has a pulsar gen 1 add on.

I've been collecting bits for a while and this past weekend decided to dedicate it to building a "scopeless" system with the only cable being a external battery pack.

anyway thats enough rambling I will post a little build thread in the appropriate section.

I'm liking the work and tools you are using for that scopeless rig. I didn't want post on the build thread just yet - preferring to see more of the build posts kept together.
