Need the correct name/title for the "square pin wire to board connectors" photographed in the first lot of photographs in the link bellow
https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q= ... +connector
need to replace a block of 4 of these small square female connectors that are on the ends of speaker wires that are inside a MP3 wild life player.
Don't think that I am going to find any in Maplins ?
Thanks all
Phil

They're probably made by Molex, but there hundreds of variations.
First thing to do is measure the distance between the pins, then get on the Molex website and see if you can find connectors with the same pin spacing, and which appear identical to the one you need.
The female connector that fits onto your cable will come in 2 parts - a plastic shell and the actual terminals.
You'll probably have to buy a minimum of 10 shells and 100 terminals.
Then, if you want to do it right, you'll need the crimping tool specific to the style and size of terminal - and the crimping tool will likely cost more than £100.
Have fun
