Thinking of putting a tracker on the new shooting truck, just in case any of our travelling friends take a liking to it. Seems to be a bit of a minefield out there with everything from £5.99 ebay trackers to £400 unit installation and £250 a year thereafter
I would need something that's hardwired with long battery back up, preferably trackable on pc / laptop / phone, leaves trail to follow.
Any experts on here gents?

I will get you some details of the one somebody at work has just had fitted to his defender , it seems pretty good with added extras like being able to set certain times and different alert options.

Rod.
This might be helpful to you if I can pull a plan together ? I have family friends who run a plumbing firm with all their vans on a tracker system that is map viewable on their PC or laptop, I might be able to twist a arm or two and highjack a tracker module off them ? Can't promise for sure but can try O/K

Ha ha, do they still use a slim jim? Still got one somewhere but last time we had to use one a lot of vehicles had the locks protected inside the door.
