Found a green led torch today, mounted the torch to my scope using a bike light plastic mount. Cheap Hawke optics on a CZ 200 .177.
Patiently waited till it was really dark, went outside............... it was sodding foggy. 10 yards max.
Bit of cursing then I turned the green led on, yahoooo, bit like looking through rain but I could pick out familiar targets, tins at 35 yards no problems, bottle tops at 40 yards sounded like I hit them
Dark, foggy and I am still shooting on a budget. Thanks guys. G
