Tried that but the car drivers moaned

Ratchet straps (5T) around main floor bracket and centre support, 2 x 6" nails in each side support. Tubular steel frame and pvc cover. Best thing is all the steel was offcuts and the pvc cover was returned (surplus to requirements) covers that had been paid for. Total cost was next to nothing
No matter how much you know it's all been welded together properly, and it's well secured to the tree, the first step out on to it is with a little trepidation
It's put up really in readiness for bad weather, somewhere protected from the elements that means I can still shoot

You say that Geoff, and to be honest it did cross my mind that if anyone spotted it they would be in there faster than a rat up a drain pipe.
If they do I'll just hit the ratchet straps with an axe

thats a cracking looking highseat rod , those supports and straps will take some serious weight .
it reminds me of my scaffold tower highseat .
ive got a few of those bolts that are used to bolt steps onto telegraph poles if you need any mate.
you could really do with finding someone that has a bit of cammo netting for sale though mate
