Night Vision Store

Post by nacnud » 05 Oct 2016, 20:54

How do you get a reply from the Night Vision Store!
I recently bought a T20 torch with white led which was delivered very quickly.
HOWEVER the torch is advertised on the web site as having a variable power out put, the unit sent to me has one power out put.
I've emailed the Night Vision Store twice, phoned them and was told I would get a call back and as yet I've not had any reply.
Their customer care and backup is TERRIBLE so BEWARE.
I was thinking of buying a NV add on unit from them but given my experiences with the Night Vision Store I won't be buying any more items from them.

I think clive might be better directing all his contact through his contact form on his website rather than the telephone option, I agree the call centre thing is annoying as hell when you want to speak to someone promptly about a problem, and most try this first.

You've got 5 posts and you're trying to tell the old hands on this forum about Clive?
We know what he's like!
Trying to communicate with him by telephone is a complete waste of time. E mail is not much better.
Your best bet is to pm him on the forum or simply put a post up asking him a question
You might say that he runs his business in an unconventional manner, but the kit he sells is excellent and if there are any problems with it he will do his best to sort it out.
PS your "variable power" T20 is likely a 3 mode jobbie where you have to briefly press the on/off switch to make it change power levels.

Cheers

Clive checks his PMs on here most days, at least if he's not sick or gone bush. His office? Not so much.

Thanks for the replies.
I have another torch and ir illuminator that use the "3 click" system so know how that works, however the t20 seems to have a simple on / off press switch, hence me trying to contact Clive.
I'll try a pm and see if that gets me anywhere.

As the lads have said, its best to try to contact "Clive" via this form.
By the way its Clive communications that bad, not his back up, if an item he sells is faulty its usually put right within 7 days.

As for thinking about buying an add on night vision you can buy what you like, but you will not get a better digital add on system than the "Wardy 700/800, its well known on here and the bbs that this is the one to have.

Great, thanks for the reply and info regarding the add on. It's a pity Clive doesn't say on his website that the best way to contact him is via a pm on the forum. When I ordered the torch it came really quickly, has a good output etc, but not to get any reply when you use the store website "contact us" tab doesn't give a good impression or inspire any confidence.
