Hi all,
This is my first post so please be gentle
I have an original Photon scope and have acquired a doubler and adaptor to fit onto the objective lens. Have found a ring screwed into the inside of the objective lens which I cannot move! Is this possible to remove? Or do I need a different adaptor?
Cheers

Hi blueyes,
Thank you for your reply.
Have watched the vid and the scope in it is the new version of the one I have. I have one of the originals I bought when they first came out. I did see the metal tool he used to remove the ring from the objective lens which looked homemade so I will try and replicate it!
Unless anyone has one I could borrow?
Cheers

Mine just had an adaptor on the doubler (a piece of plastic tube) that pushed over the photon. You secure them with silicon sealer.

Had a look at my mk1 and it's the same as my xt, so all you need is a square of metal. Or a thin long nosed pliers will do it. Atb Gary.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the info, was it difficult to release? I am presuming that Yukon may have cemented the ring in place?
Cheers
