Mr Tactful himself banned, never.
Go on then, What have you said to deserve such drastic treatment ?
Oh! I'm offended already just thinking about it.
That's what I can't understand
Are you banned from the BBS?
Oh yeah, banned from there ages ago
Someone started a thread regarding folk who've had a sex change to male on the NHS, then wanting the NHS to fund them having a baby. Although it obviously affects funding for genuine illnesses and injury's etc
Goes without saying the established luvvies said yep, what's the problem, words to the effect of it's just as important as a broken leg etc

(you just can't get your head round the way some folk think can you)
Anyway, for some reason the thread got on to gays

And several mentioned they have gay mates who are wonderful people. I mentioned that I knew none now since the only one I knew died of aids or some other gay related illness. The luvvies then piped up that aids wasn't a gay related illness as it affect women and children, so they took offence at this and obviously complained. What they didn't ask was when it happened, and as it was getting on for twenty years ago then aids WAS regarded by all as a gay related illness at that time.
What I have noticed over time on there is when it comes to things like gays being mentioned (and I wouldn't mention them just to find out who's who would I ?)

there's several seem to take umbrage and want everyone to just speak nicely of them, you daren't offer any criticism what so ever

Even a mod or two (but I ain't going to mention names)
Does make you wonder if the subject's a bit close to home for some

If it is close to home why not just admit it, it's no problem nowadays, why just cause hassle because they want to stay in the closet ?
And anyway, I can't deny wording it the way I did just to wind the luvvy members up, but I deliberately worded it to not cause offence to genuine gays, if that's how they want to live then so be it, nothing to do with me. Meanwhile, I can log on from another pc so let the luvvy war begin
