Pellexit

Is there a way out of a blind alley - hell no - unless of course you turn around. A blind alley with a suitable backstop might make a suitable range. However you might then need Home Office approval - EU legislation, rules and regulations just to fire your 12 foot pound air rifle in a public place. Stick to your own back garden, don't upset the neighbours and fire away, almost foolproof and you do not require any sort of roof or permission. Is there a spare blind alley at the bottom of your garden?

Hello Branston.
Have you per chance had some medication fired up your blind alley to spawn such a random yet topically related post ?

Hi chas, I did have one of those gadgets that collect tissue via yer anus inserted but i think they took it out - hopefully. Anyway do you remember the millenium bug. What a load of humbug and total waste of money by government not to mention industry and the health service, public funds spent on rumour and supposition - millions of pounds Sterling wasted because the UK was gripped by paranoia and total crap peddled by the media and so called experts just like now with brexit. And guess what, nothing happened the clock chimed the mice ran down - hickory dickory dock. Total dead end. My post is almost as pointless as the current political divide in Europe and closer than you might think to the end result. The truth is out there and you can still fire your legal airgun in your own back yard - that is democracy coupled to the common sense of the common man. I don't suppose by any chance you have an E700 to M42 adaptor by Some Bloke? Good on yer blue.

I was just about to add that I thought, on further investigation, that your first post went much deeper than originally perceived, then you popped up again.
Yep y2k was a farce, I remember people ringing me up to ask if "our" instruments would cause chaos shortly after midnight, what a load of crap that was and there was absolutely no reason behind it, just hysteria.
Looks like a repeat showing going on at the moment, none of them know what will happen, but they all know what won't happen, or visa versa, whatever it is amounts to spouting crap.

Oh, No I haven't. :)

I have got to ask, what is a water zorb and especially a vacuum bubble used for. No, your having me on you naughty boys. I knew some of you were getting bored so I invented a scenario to make you think. Pure unadulterated two dimensional tosh which is what we are all being currently fed by the media in my humble opinion. Trouble is once you're trapped in the bubble the various media psycho babble starts to work to undermine your beliefs and values. It is true I do live in a cave.

More seriously, have any of you guys built your own desktop/tower PC 'system' and installed a new virgin unadulterated SSD as the main drive for the operating system - in this instance a new Win 10 OEM DVD and used a new unadulterated virgin HDD for other things including installing games - typically steam or some such as well as your photos and other important information. The problem I'm having is in reading conflicting instructions from various forums that tend to contradict one another. One camp says install both drives connected and boot from disc to SSD (no problems just follow the instructions) and the other camp says disconnect HDD and reconnect after installing windows to SSD and let the operating system recognize the HDD which it should do upon boot otherwise the second drive may become corrupted by default during installation. I would welcome any input from you chaps because you tend to find ways around things. Addendum. System would not post. 23/06/16 fixed the above with a fresh keyboard. F2 just would not activate post link. Probably politically disconnected and just did not want the rest of the board to know what was going on.

I don't know the best way to do it, but I would say to stay away from Windows 10 - it's a bucket of crap.
Windows 7 is the best operating system Microsoft ever made - unless you're a touch screen geek then windows 8 and 10 are a waste of time.

Cheers
