Small wireless reciever and transmitter

I m looking to make a set of headphones wireless for my metal detector, not Bluetooth as it lags.
I need to find a small wireless reciever and transmitter to use, I though about the reversing camera ones we use for in wireless builds but they are 12v
Anyone got any suggestions?
