Hi! I'm new here. I just bought an air rifle and it's on its way. I want to put a scope on it and add night vision. What features do I want in the scope? Is a 40mm objective better to add NV to than a 50mm objective? Stuff like that please.
Thanks,
Dan
What to look for in a rifle scope with intended use for DIY NV?

Hi Dan, something like a 3 -12 x44 MTC Viper x 3 is perfect for Ratting.
Anyway welcome to the forum, pull up a seat and read as much as you can.

Side focus is about the most important thing for you - then fairly low mag zoom ability to get a wider FOV at close ranges.
A smooth eye bell that doesn't have an illuminated retical module or lumpy ocular adjuster make life a bit easier too.
