Hello,
New to forum. Currently building a DIY night vision system for my Daystate Air Wolf. Am interested in "scopeless" system where I can marry a EJ230 to some legacy glass I have laying around. I know "S" to "C" mount adapters are available, but since I have several Pentax M42 lenses, I'd like to see I can use one of them. Anyone have experience using M42 lenses? I've read that C mount lenses with manual iris designs are difficult to come by.

Thanks,
Cris

Cris,
Welcome to the forum.
Plenty of NV spotters have been built using M42 lenses and E700 cameras (the box version of the EJ230)
Forum member "Some Bloke" is the expert on this and I'm sure he'll be along to advise.

Cheers

Bruce
