New here but some of you may recognize my name from a few other forums on varying subjects.

Started my first NV scope add-on project with assistance from a fella who i know as 'Coventry boy' but not sure if he used the same handle here.

so far i have on order/had delivered:
> 4.3" tft lcd monitor: £11.58
> HD Sony 960H CCD Effio 700TVL £14
> 16mm f1.2 lens £5
> a few scope mount and rail bits and pieces £6
> t20 ir torch £26

Wires/switches. batteries and such i have around in my workshop

Welcome to the forum bud, I am sure within time you will become one of the educated,as for the camera I am a canny Scot and like you tried to pick things up as cheap as possible, all the chaps kept pushing the Kpc E700 but I ignored them and now have a bunch of cameras lying in the drawer the old saying you get what you pay for is defo true in this case enjoy your stay :thumbup:

Welcome to the forum. I wish you well with your first homebuild NV - once you get it working you'll almost certainly want to move onto something better.
It's understandable to try to get your first build up and running for the smallest spend, however, as blueeyes says you'll probably finish up buying an E700 camera and a screen with higher resolution than the 320x240 job you got for £11.58 and, depending on the range you intend to shoot at, an illuminator with longer range than a T20.
