Awwhh been trying to forget the biggest mistake Of selling my 04 underseat pipe fireblade a couple of years ago. keep looking at bikes on ebay. Was my baby rode her to work edinburgh and then london everyday for 7 years apr to sept. M40 at 6.20 in the morning was great fun. fast as fook. Dont like salt and did enough riding bikes thro the winter in edinburgh in the late 70s in rain sleet and snow even. Didnt have as much use for her down in Sussex and the bag kept moaning you never use it, all bloddy sunday riders down here loads of them evry sunday. Never see a bike not one here Monday to Saturday then Sunday buzzin all over the place.

Just been away to cornwall guy who owned our cottage was a grass tracker in his youger days. rebuilds old bikes, had a guzzi, old yam 650 and a drool drool black Norton Commando, nearly had a white commando in 80 but some guy beat me to it. Since holiday been trying to persuade the bag to let me buy an old Triumph T140 american style, always wanted one of them. Excuse is she can get on the back better thn the new R1 god its a nice looking bike. Honda CB1300 in red/white or early yam xj in the sp colours red or yellow would be nice too.

Anyway nuff bike porn.

I'm quite lucky. I met my missus at a bike do. She owns 2 bikes herself although to be fair 1 will become mine when I sort it. This years winter project and I put more miles on her other one in a few days than she does in a year but she is happy and doesn't complain when I turn up with something. Currently a Varadero. It handles the bumps and back roads nicely. Well a damn sight better than the zzr did.

Could probably just fit a muntie in the top box. My mate used to strap his rifle to his bike to go shooting and on more than one occasion had to strap a deer to the pillion to get it home.

Blimey brave fella must of ben a bit of a struggle. My exs brother had a Honda CBX1000 with a six into two with baffles removed he used to turn up on when we went trout fishing. Rod tube strapped up side of bike and waders on. You knew he was coming cos you could hear him for about a mile as caned it to whereevr we were fishing. Never had the balls to ride it tbh but I thrashed his yam xt500 a couple of times, they were great bikes too!

Anyway spose off topic realy on a Nv forum and I'll start reminising about me mates suzook kettle and the kwak zzr1100 in green I wanted when it first came out then the first missus announced the bun and all toys stopped for many a year, think it was a zzr, first with squarish tank and a bit like a factory built street fighter. Final i always said when i got the cbr1000rr in 04 i would never sell it would just fighter it as it had a shagable looking arse anyway just needed the front sorting and the panels off. So when I sold it (oh i wish i had fightered it but not much of a mechanic really, nice set of renthal bars etc oh stop it!!!). a nice bloke came diwn fom Nottingham paid a fair price fir it and then txted me for a week telling me how bloody great it was. As I was basically greetin from the moment I sold had to txt him to fok off eventually as it started to grate if you know what I mean. lol.

Shame these days really kids dont really ride motirbikes had no choice when I was young only thing I could afford cars were just a pipe dream.
