I don't like clouds and the likes of photobucket. Why can't we attach a .jpg file to the post?sunndog wrote:Geoff and i were talking about this when the photobucket thing happened. We thought a new favorite would have appeared by now
My photobucket does still work so i guess i'v not reached their cut off limit
I did try flickr and another one but didn't get on with either....plus one is still spamming me with cat pics and such

Imgbb.com is easy to use. Works like photo bucket used to. Very simple.

Great hoster, been using it without any membership for years now, I just keep a list of my direct links on a note with headers to distinguish from, that simple. I believe my uploaded images will stay there as long as the site lives, because it's financial plan seems to target more the membership-free visitors and advertisers money, looks like it's working for them so far, I don't see them blackmailing people to pay for membership anytime in the future, AFAIK.LawrenceCampbell wrote: ↑21 Sep 2018, 07:16Sorry, I just joined and don't want to start giving advice straightaway, but have you people triedsunndog wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017, 12:19Geoff and i were talking about this when the photobucket thing happened. Re: How to put photos in a post
Hahah, should've checked before I say that. Just had to check an old post of mine and it's image was gone, then I checked my list and, every uploaded image I have ever posted is gone, except only one recent batch. Apparently, they (postimages.org) changed their server's domain from .org to .cc (China's domain) so everything that was uploaded to their old .org server is now gone. Now all I have left is just my last containing images thread in another forum that still has it's loads of working images, simply because they were directly uploaded to their new (postimg.cc) server when I was uploading them to (postimages.org).
This forums's third party images hosing sites issue realy sucks, it's harming the forums badly.
If you're serious about your stuff, be aware.
